Taking aim at the fat tire customs, the redesigned 2008 Ridgeback is the new standard by which all other chopper-style bikes will be judged. Featuring an aggressively styled rigid frame that measures nine muscular feet in length and a shortened rear fender that caps the most distinctive feature of all-an ultra fat 330mm rear tire. At more than a foot wide, it’s the fattest tire used in Big Dog Motorcycles history. Powered by a road-thrashing 117 cubic inch V-twin engine and 6-speed BDM Balance Drive transmission, keeping the Ridgeback in one place will prove a difficult task. This full arsenal of hardcore design elements combined with its amazing rideability, handling, and comfort make the 2008 Ridgeback the top rigid cruiser on the market
